Also known as collagen induction therapy, involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny needles, resulting in micro traumas. The body is then activated to increase blood supply, collagen and elastin delivery to the sites of trauma and heal itself. The increase in oxygen, nutrients, collagen and elastin allow the skin to regenerate resulting in firmer, tighter and more glowing skin. Different serums are used to infuse into the skin during the procedure based on each individuals skin needs and goals. These serums will be determined by our doctors during your treatment plan discussion. Please note- numbing agents are used prior to microneedling.
